Our outreach in Israel involved serving in many ways. While some mopped floors others cooked. There were meaningful ministry times that included washing feet and other times that involved picking trash up in the streets. The picking up of trash is something that has become a trademark in the community when Crossroaders are in town. The merchants who used to find it a curiosity in years past are now expressing appreciation. One woman who had us pray for her when she was pregnant a number of years ago led her friend who is pregnant to us and said, “You prayed for me when I was pregnant. Now you pray for my friend!” Community transformation takes time. Some plant, others water and some harvest. What an honor to be sent by The Lord of the harvest to labor!!
