About This Ministry

Respect The Corners is about far more than just fitness. We believe in living a holistic lifestyle which transforms the culture around us. We believe in doing everything with the utmost of integrity and humility, and never cutting corners.

OUR FOCUS

Respect the Corners exists to raise up Godly mentors and courageous pioneers who will use the fitness platform to exalt the name of Jesus on the earth. Our passion is to witness all nations experiencing the life changing news of Jesus Christ. We believe that God’s greatest creation was the human body, and that his treasure is worth nurturing and preserving. Not for vain pursuits, but to seek value and stewardship to bring Him glory in the Nations. Our mission is to equip functional fitness trainers to be dynamic, life changing coaches. Giving their lives unceasingly in service to those around them! Our desire is to dethrone “safe”, “self-focused” living and exalt the name of Jesus in all we do!

Ministry Activities

There are a few ways you can get involved and join our community. One way is taking our Respect the Corners DTS. This is a 6 month intensive discipleship program that runs alongside Fire & Fragrance. It focuses on learning how to cultivate your relationship with God in a community that is passionate about worship & prayer that believes for revival and reformation in the nations as well as learning how to use the gift of fitness as another way to bring glory to God.

If you already have done your DTS, then you can apply for staff here in Kona and join our family, get trained and launched out to the nations.

CF-L2 Trainer

I have spent the last three years pioneering a leadership development track within the University of the Nations in Kona, Hawaii with my wife Shannon and our four children. In RTC, my passion for fitness collides with my heart for discipleship and the nations to experience the love of Jesus.

With a heart to mentor, I have used fitness to impact young men at home and abroad to help them achieve their goals and become men of strength and integrity. I have been with the University of the Nations since 2013 and live in Kona, Hawaii with my wife, Carrie and our two children.
