Jackson Ndcheck


Jackson Ambe Ndecheck, originally from Cameroon, joined YWAM Port Harcourt in 2002. After his Discipleship Training School he staffed in Nigeria for 8 years, leading the DTS training center and helping pioneer other bases. In April 2010 he continued his Bachelor in Biblical Studies and Master’s in Community Development at the University of the Nations, Kona Hawaii. In 2016 he started the African Bible Safari a program to end bible poverty in Africa. 

He has been part of the Word by Heart family since the first school ran in Kona in 2013. He travels to other nations in order to give Gospel presentations and Word by Heart seminars and help multiply this school. He has been involved with many Word by Heart schools as they run every quarter at YWAM Kona. His wife Anneke recently took the school as well. Together they have 3 beautiful children: Hope, REJoyce and Kyndness.

Jihoon Lee


JI hoon Lee from South Korea(wife Mirak, daughter Shine), joined YWAM Kona in 2007. After His Discipleship Traing School in Kona, He staffed in IK (Internationa Korean)DTS 2007-2008, CROWN(Christ Revealed On the World Network) 2009-2012, and North East Asia DTS as a Leadership 2013-2015. He led various outreaches to Eastern Asia. He led the first Korean and English Word By Herat School in 2016.

Eliot Lee


Eliot has been a pastor, a seminarian, and has been a long time YWAMer, staffing both DTS and DBS schools. Eliot and Olivia have led 3 previous Word by Heart schools in Kona and in Korea. They led the first WBH school in Korea with great success last quarter of 2017. They did all four gospels in Kona and staffed the first Philippians WBH school in Lausanne, Switzerland in July 2017. They have presented in various places and occasions and in various countries.

Paul Childers


Paul Childers is co-founder of Word By Heart. He lives with his wife Susi and 3 children in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.

Paul originally comes from New Zealand. He has always been passionate for the Word of God and has performed whole books of the Bible at a young age. Recently he has learned much from Word by Heart Co-founder Bruce Kuhn and presents the Word with warmth and a personal connection.

Paul has also founded A Voice for the Voiceless <www.avoice4.org> (media oriented advocacy organization) and has had a long career with YWAM (Youth With A Mission). He is on the executive team of the University of the Nations in Kailua-Kona and has visited over 75 countries with his work.
