Joseph and Yvette Zintseme: This amazing couple are experienced missionary leaders in YWAM. They have taken these last several years to develop their skills as educators in response to the many needs and opportunities they encountered as they ministered in nations around the world. This year they created and led a one month course to prepare teams of people in a community to start a school. Pioneered in their home country of Cameroon, they saw tremendous change in a short period of time as they worked together in a 2 week model school with community children as their primary training method. Yvette also helped to lead the full Educating for Life certificate program as a 3 month intensive on the UofN Kona campus. Many doors are open for this couple to share their wisdom and experience around the world!

Jean Christophe and his wife Claudia
They have been educators in West and Central Africa for many years. He has done an outstanding job leading the Educating for Life program in Chad in 2014-2015. He focused primarily on training leaders who will then be able to multiply the program in the future. There is wonderful fruit already from their applications in the classroom and in training coworkers. He remains committed to biblical education to transform Africa, and is a treasured member of the team.
Chimene Djeumo has done a wonderful job leading Educating for Life programs in several nations. She co-led the program in Nigeria in 2014, followed immediately by co- leading in Chad, and has begun the program in her own country of Cameroon this year. There is wonderful fruit already from their applications in the classroom and in training coworkers. On top of this she has completed her studies in Primary Education with the University of the Nations. She is an excellent educational leader, both in the classroom and in training fellow educators.
Aaron Emmanual has been an educator and a YWAMer for many years. He works with the Nigerian government to oversee the Christian teachers working in the public schools. Over the last three years he has been working towards the government using the Educating for Life program to train the Christian teachers. Working under very challenging conditions, he has completed one program and has begun the second in central Nigeria. His determination and faith allow the program to continue to grow, serving educators from many different schools.
Michael & Sarah Soon:
It’s a delight to welcome Michael and Sarah to Educating for Life! They began and continue to provide leadership support to a school in their home city in China. In this past year they followed God’s invitation to devote themselves to training teachers around the world. They took the radical step of faith and obedience to come to Kona, Hawaii USA for six months to receive training with YWAM, the host organization for Educating for Life. During that time they met regularly for training and discussion on how to work with the Educating for Life program. Michael has also become trained as an assessor for the Global Accrediting Association, a group with whom we work very closely. As members of the Educating for Life ministry family, Michael continues to speak at educational conferences, study, and initiate training opportunities.
