Every people and culture has unique facets of God’s character imprinted in their very fiber. As we study the world’s beautiful and varied societies, we are drawn toward greater understanding of their Creator.
Spurred by the “prophetic dream” in Scriptures of the banquet of nations, the College of Humanities and International Studies seeks to cultivate a biblical worldview centered on redemption, restoration, and reconciliation through Christ. Students explore disciplines that encourage cross cultural understanding such as linguistics, intercultural studies, and justice. The College of Humanities and International Studies recognizes the impact that a biblical worldview can have on every sphere of society and prepares students to be agents of God’s thinking and His hope throughout the world.
