What happens in this course?
Live in community with others who are pursuing God and a life of purpose. Be formed in discipleship, grow in resilience and faith, and step into a lifestyle shaped by adventure and mission. Discover how your passions can impact others and reach the nations.
Training Phase (3 months)
Grow deeper in your relationship with God through a season of discipleship.
Build strong foundations of faith, through classes and practical training. Growing through mentoring, prayer,
and worship while being equipped to live out your faith as you prepare for outreach.

Outreach Phase (3 months)
Travel with a team to unique locations, build connections, meet real needs, and share God’s love as lives are impacted by the gospel.
Outreach includes both surf teams and sail-based
teams, allowing you to serve in environments that align with your passions and skills.

What makes us unique?
ADVENTURE
Following Jesus was never meant to be ordinary. This DTS is a discipleship adventure, where
surfing, sailing, and missions combine to shape bold believers who step out in faith. From the
beaches of Hawaiʻi to some of the most unreached coastlines of the world, carrying the gospel
to the ends of the earth.
MOVEMENT
This is more than a DTS, it’s a movement. Over the last decades, a growing global wave of christian surfers and ocean based ministries has been mobilising believers to integrate faith with surfing and sailing, using the ocean as a place of encounter, discipleship, and mission to reach people beyond the church walls into a greater gospel movement.
UNREACHED
We see surfing and sailing as a bridge into the nations and communities that are still waiting to encounter Jesus. This DTS is driven by a heart for the unreached, coastal regions and surf communities that have little to no access to the gospel. Seeing your surfboard become a tool for the great commission, carrying the good news of Jesus into the nations.
