The AS in Early Childhood Education degree will prepare the student for practical service in the field of early childhood education. Students will build a biblical worldview of education around the topics of the value of a child, the role of family, and the character of God as foundational to all content and practice. They will also develop practical skills in how to create a healthy classroom community and use interactive approaches to learning and lesson planning. Students will be prepared practically to teach children 0-8 years old in any context, including Sunday school, existing schools and pioneering new educational ministries.
