VISION

The life of a disciple begins with living in the presence of Jesus’s everlasting love and building a personal relationship with Him. Our goal is for each person to accept Jesus as “my Father”, not as somebody else’s God. By doing so, He touches you in the core of your heart; you will be able to listen to His Words, look into His Heart and learn His Characters. When you experience the essence of his Love, you will forever sing His praises before all men. We want to see God-seeking generations rise and truthfully follow Jesus to build the Kingdom of God on their daily life settings. We invite you to join Kingdom builders to bring the glory of God together.

Our Focus

Our focus is to upraise Youth of Christ in Korea, Asia and all around the world in unification and praise and declare our Lord is the Savior. Asia Gateway DTS trains the disciples to become the soldiers of Christ where we will go to places in need of God’s touch and build a foundation of praise. With praise, worship and prayers for the Nations, we will continue to build love and relationship with Jesus Christ and open our ears, be obedient to his Words and arise to become the Next Kingdom Generation.

WHAT IS DTS

The Discipleship Training School (DTS) is YWAM’s six month entry level course, embodying YWAM’s mission to know God and make Him known. DTS provides an environment for students to personally encounter Jesus Christ, learn to hear God’s voice, and respond with joy!

OUTREACH

At the completion of the classroom phase, students have the opportunity to ‘make God known’ in the outreach phase. The Gospel comes alive as students step out in faith to preach the good news, baptize new believers and heal the sick (Mark 16:15-18). Outreach is an exhilarating time of risk and adventure, as teams serve with local believers: transforming lives and impacting society with the love of Jesus Christ.

Leader- David Park & Kay Kim

David is a Korean diaspora, 1.5 generation from Korea who made a commitment to serve to spread God’s Words to the Nation. He helped to upraise Youth in YWAM Kona since 2010 and continues to train them to become true disciples to Jesus Christ. Along with his wife, Kay and two lovely children, Daniel & Jeiel, they are serving in U of N Kona to help spread God’s love throughout Asia and all Nations.
