Kokua Program
Kōkua Program
Serving the global missions movement in practical ways
About Kōkua Program
Kōkua Program is a short-term volunteer experience in Kona, Hawaiʻi where you serve the global missions movement in practical ways.
Youth With A Mission (YWAM) is an international movement of Christians from many denominations dedicated to meeting practical and spiritual needs of people across the world.
The University of the Nations Kona campus in Hawaiʻi is YWAM’s largest training and ministry center, equipping hundreds of missionaries each year to serve both locally and globally.
During your Kōkua Program experience, you’ll volunteer on the Kona campus in different areas, regularly connect with your team, and be involved in the local community. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore the island of Hawaiʻi with your team on your days off.
