Delphine was taken from her mom in Cameroon by her abusive father and had to fend for herself when she was still very young. She found aid from a local pastor when she needed help for paying for her schooling at age 7. Today she is providing a home for street children and giving them a foundation for life through God’s word. She still doesn’t have access to an audio Bible in her native tongue (most people from her tribe don’t learn to read in their language but rather in trade languages like English and French). Delphine attended the African Bible Safari in Kona this month and is now working with YWAM Kona and others to see her nation become an example for how African nations can have the Bible in every heart language.
