Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to explain the hope that you have. Yet do this with gentleness and respect.

1 Peter 3:15

God has called us as Christians to be the voice of truth in a culture that’s growing louder and louder. In Jesus’ life, he took the norms of society and completely flipped them upside down. He was loving, he was bold, and he was completely counter-cultural.

Our goal is to win a generation to Christ for the sake of the gospel!

Counter Culture is a three-month, third level apologetics school that is designed to be a link between graduating The School of Biblical Studies (SBS) and re-entering society. This course will help you process and compile what you learned in SBS, strengthen and solidify your Biblical foundation, and will prepare you for maximizing witness opportunities post-SBS. Expect to gain confidence in explaining, defending, and communicating God’s love and truth in every day social environments, in an effective and godly way.

Jennifer Wilson

Jennifer moved from Tennessee to Kona in 2013 for SBS where she fell in love with the Bible…Oh, and with the man who is now her husband! She is six years into her two-year commitment with YWAM, and just can’t quite get enough of this life-giving book called the Word of God. Jennifer and her husband Jesse have been leading the School of Biblical Studies together and are excited to blow the roof off the ministry- starting first with Counter Culture!
