Gain confidence and experience in your photography at the same time you help other mission groups. The teaching in Kona in the first three weeks is followed by four weeks overseas as a team of missionary photographers.

School of Photography II builds on the foundations laid in the first school, SOPI. There’s a continued emphasis on a hands-on approach. Students work towards developing both a personal style and a quality portfolio. Ample opportunities for shooting will be given throughout the course.

A YWAM/UofN Discipleship Training School (DTS) and School of Photography I (SOP I) is required in order to do the School of Photography II (SOP II).

Dennis Fahringer

Dennis started in photography in 1963, began teaching photography in 1970.

He and his wife, Jo, joined Youth with a Mission staff in 1977 after two and half years with another missions organization. The Lord has taken Dennis and his cameras to 51 countries so far. They’ve been staff with YWAM Kona since 1988.
