The University of the Nations is here to launch you into your missional calling. We’ve developed these degree pathways to equip you with the virtue, knowledge, and skills it takes to bring transformation to people and societies all over the world.

One of the largest injustices is a lack of access to education. There are so many places in the world right now in need of skilled, compassionate, Jesus-centered teachers and Christian schools. 

The Teacher Training Pathway is a custom-designed learning cohort that is fully integrated with our model K-12 schools on our Kona campus. Learn the foundations for a Christian education and how to pioneer new schools for the most underserved areas around the world.

Steps to Complete Pathway

Discipleship Training School

DTS is a 6 month experience that will transform your life by pushing you to know God and make Him known.

Foundations in Education

The FIE course lays a foundation for working with children or youth in any community or classroom setting. If you choose to opt for a degree, you can earn credits toward an Associate of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education or Primary Education for elementary children and youth.

Practicum 1

Following your coursework in Foundation in Education, you’ll apply the skills you acquired in real-world scenarios.

Methods and Mod

Grow in your understanding of educational methods and models and develop a biblical worldview in areas of learning and teaching.

Practicum 2

Following your coursework in Methods and Mods, you’ll apply the skills you acquired in real-world scenarios.

Field Training

Following your coursework, you’ll apply the skills you acquired in real-world scenarios.
