And Missional Living. YWAM UofN Kona is a community full of young people living for Jesus.
A bit of History
In 1973, during an all-night prayer meeting, God spoke to Loren Cunningham and other YWAMers about starting a work on the “Big Island” of Hawaiʻi.
God did miracles and YWAM was able to purchase the land for the exact amount they heard in prayer. (Read the whole story in Loren’s book, Is That Really You, God?). We didn’t know when it was purchased, but the land our campus sits on has been dedicated to missions since the 1800’s.
